 Cocofloor Basic
 Cocofloor Basic® is a special underlay to be used under floating screeds, such as sand/cement or anhydrite flooring.
It is an underflooring panel, made out of 100 % pure coconut fibres, without damaging additives or binding agents. A very stable underfloor, suitable for all kinds of floor finishings. The product is environmentally friendly, does not rot, reduces noise nuisance, isolates cold floors and it has excellent resistibility against rodents.
Cocofloor Basic® provides, in combination with a sand/cement or anhydrite screed, an improvement in the isolation index for impact noise of at least 22 dB Δ Lw, all depending on the thickness of the screed applied (at least 4.2 cm). (Tested at TNO in The Netherlands in August 2005, according to BS-EN-ISO 140-8 / 717-2 – floor size 10 mē according to NPR 5079).
