Marathon Super
  Marathon Super® is a sound reducing underlay system specifically designed for use under floating vinyl. An underlay with exceptional levelling and stabilising properties. A refined combination of excellent materials will provide the cushion vinyl its essential stability, which not only has a great positive influence on controlling the transmission of sound, but at the same time guarantees to extend the lifetime of your precious floor covering.
Marathon Super® is made from the highest quality of pure natural wood leavings and is therewith totally environment friendly and can be fully turned into compost. Marathon Super® has been extensively tested by independent, internationally recognized and accredited institutes and meets the requirements of the Building Regulations. It reduces impact sound transmission by more than 21 dB ΔLw / 10 dB ΔLlin in accordance to the European norm BS-EN-ISO 140-8 / 717-2.
A quick and simple floating installation makes Marathon Super® most user friendly. Also Marathon Super® will provide good thermal insulation which will secure a friendly floor temperature.
